ESMclon er en samling scripts, som gjør det som skal gjøres for hele tiden å holde en ekstra bootdisk intakt.
 

Eksempel på installasjon:  Legg pakken ESMclon.s på f.eks /tmp

Pakkene gjør overhodet ingenting uten at de er konfigurert.

Poenget med disse pakkene, er å få laget en helt minimal rootdg, som kun inneholder en liten partisjon som rootdg.
Glem vxinstall, kjør "create-rootdg" istedet.
Sørg for å ha en liten partisjone, 10-20 Mb på root-disken.  Denne vil i ettertid være være din rootdg.

/usr/local/clone:    create-rootdg:                                   lager rootdg på en angitt partisjon. (KONFIGURER !)
                           clone-bootdisk:                                kjør fra cron   (KONFIGURER!)
                           recover-bootdisk-from-networker:    Brukes ved "disaster-recovery" i forbindelse med Solstice Backup"
                           save-bootdisk-info                           kjør fra cron   (KONFIGURER!)
